Actually, so much is happening in the immediate surroundings, it is really not possible to mention it all, but we would like to give you an impression of what you can expect.

We will not normally serve lunch or dinner. Since we have more than 20 places to eat and drink within walking distance, there is no need to. However, we will occasionally organise theme evenings like BBQ, Pizza and special buffets for groups.

In the Harz, you will find several summer toboggan runs, which are actually bobsled runs in summer. A lift takes you up and on a safe, breakable bobsleigh you swoosh down again at super speed. If you have done this before, you will certainly find new challenging courses here. If you are new to the sport, you will soon be addicted to the thrill of speed and spectacle.

For the real "Thrill Seekers". For those who only really enjoy themselves when the adrenaline explodes in their body like a bomb. There is only one word for this in the Harz: "Harzdrenalin".

In the Harz, there is so much going on underground, some would say that the Harz is hollow. There are a number of natural, particularly beautiful caves, which are certainly not inferior to the famous caves in other countries. Also intense mining in the past shows us an interesting world underground. Look at the map to see where the underground world is accessible.

The Harz is Germany's northernmost skiing area. Depending on snowfall, several ski slopes open quickly. At the end of our street on Ravensberg, about 2 km from Haus am See, you can enjoy tobogganing. How cool is that..... The ski slopes in Braunlage are, if necessary, improved with artificial snow, so only the right temperature is required. But skiing and snowboarding are not the only kinds of snow fun.....
